How to Enter
Everything you need to know to get your team into the Horsham Open Padel League.
Open Doubles League
The Horsham Open Padel League is one inclusive doubles competition. Enter as a men's, women's or mixed pair — all teams compete together in the same open league. Each player can only represent one registered team during the season.
Men's Pair
Two male players. Competes in the same open league as all other pairs.
Women's Pair
Two female players. Competes in the same open league as all other pairs.
Mixed Pair
One male and one female player. Competes in the same open league as all other pairs.
How Groups Work
For the inaugural season there are no existing rankings. Teams will be grouped according to self-assessed playing experience and the number of registrations received — not gender or team composition. If enough teams enter, round-robin groups may be created to keep the fixture schedule manageable. All groups remain part of the same Horsham Open Padel League.

Advanced
Tournament / Club CompetitiveFor players with tournament or strong club competitive experience. Technically strong, tactically aware, and comfortable in high-pressure matches.
Intermediate
Regular Club PlayerFor players who play regularly at club level and have solid match experience. Expect competitive, close-fought games.
Beginner+
Developing PlayerFor players who are developing their game and play occasionally. A competitive but supportive environment to improve.
Beginner
New to Competitive PlayFor players just starting out in competitive padel. Welcoming, fun, and a great way to build your skills and confidence.
Venues
The Horsham Open Padel League is venue-flexible. Teams arrange their own matches and can play at any padel court in or around Horsham. Use the Skan platform to find local clubs and book a court.
Each fixture must be completed within its allocated week. Court hire is paid separately by the four players.
Match Format
All league matches are played as best of three sets. Here's how scoring works:
Best of Three Sets
The first team to win two sets wins the match. A third set is only played if each team has won one set apiece.
Winning a Set
A set is won by the first team to reach six games with a two-game lead. If the score reaches 5–5, play continues until one team leads by two clear games (e.g. 7–5, 8–6).
Tie-Break at 6–6
If a set reaches 6–6, a tie-break is played. The first team to reach seven points wins the tie-break — but must lead by at least two clear points (e.g. 7–5, 8–6, 9–7). There is no cap.
These rules apply to all groups and all team compositions — men's, women's and mixed pairs.
Entry Process
Step 01
Register Your Interest
Complete the sign-up form with your team name, player details and self-assessed playing level. Entry is completely free. You must enter with a partner — registrations are for pairs only.
Step 02
We Review Numbers
Once we have a clear picture of demand, we'll confirm the league format, group structure and launch date. A preliminary registration shows interest and does not yet confirm a place, fixture schedule or start date.
Step 03
Receive Your Fixtures
Registered teams will be contacted when the league format and launch date have been confirmed. You'll then receive your full fixture list and can arrange matches at any mutually agreed venue.
